United Methodist Women

Women's ministry at North Charleston United Methodist Church is carried out through the United Methodist Women (UMW). UMW is a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership and transformation.

The purpose of UMW is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ by means of fellowship and participation in the local and global ministries of the church. Anyone who commits herself to the UMW purpose may belong.

North Charleston UMW has five Circles (small groups). Each of these circles gathers for devotion, prayer, mission planning, fellowship, good food, and fun. For more information concerning the various Circles, please contact Jeannie Lanier in the Church Office (843-744-6669).
